The finest whitewater rafting in the state is located in the Evergreen area. We are fortunate to be located between the Tuolumne River and Merced River, class III and IV rivers with well earned reputations for stellar whitewater. Typically, the rafting season begins in April and lasts through September. Spring offers the highest water with the most dramatic and exhilarating rapids. Summer provides stable water flows and warmer weather (along with more demand).

We partner with Zephyr River Expeditions, All-Outdoors California Whitewater Rafting, Whitewater Voyages and other local rafting outfitters to get you on the river for day or overnight trips and are happy to arrange rafting trips for our guests. Note that rafting trips have limited capacity and should be reserved in advance.

The Evergreen is located just miles from the Tuolumne River, the finest rafting in California. One day trips are offered as well as longer two and three day trips for those who want to combine an Evergreen stay with a few days on the river. Tuolumne River rafting is Class IV (out of V), meaning an exhilarating day of whitewater that is definitely not for beginners. Minimum age is 14.
