Come enjoy a special New Year’s weekend at the Evergreen Lodge. Our celebration will extend throughout the weekend, starting with dinner and activities on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, continuing with our extravagant New Year's Eve dinner & party (celebrated salsa style) on Monday, and finishing with a decadent New Year's Day brunch on Tuesday.
Our secluded setting in the forest allows for an intimate New Year’s experience, and since we have no neighbors, it also allows our celebration to go on for as long as you want to party. And when you’re ready to retire, you can stroll back to your cozy cabin in the woods – no driving required!
You can enjoy your New Year's Weekend with us in two ways:
- A la Carte – Book your cabin (two-night minimum), then pick and choose from the many dining, party and recreation options available.
- New Year's Package – Get the most value, fun and convenience from your visit by purchasing a two or three-night package, including New Year's Eve dinner & party, New Year's Day brunch, and much more.

Kick the weekend off right with a night of relaxation and merriment. Join us for a hearty dinner and then head to the tavern for great music and one (or more) of our world-famous hot toddies. Or join us in the Recreation Center for an evening of games, s'mores and a roaring fire. This will be a great start to a fun-filled, New Year's getaway!
Indulge in a lazy morning and a delicious hot breakfast, then get out and enjoy the day. Grab lunch to go and join us for one of our naturalist hikes, snowshoe trips or sightseeing tours. Tap into some of the Park's secret treasures and little known gems for a truly unique Yosemite experience that few get to see!

Arrive back at the Lodge in time for an indulgent full-body massage (available throughout the weekend – reservations required). Relaxed and refreshed, join us for another memorable night of dining and activities.
On Sunday and Monday evenings, check out the Lodge’s “Copacabana” gaming room and indulge in classic Monte Carlo gaming with your “Green Mountain Money”. When you check in you will receive $500 in “Green Mountain Money” to test your luck. A variety of prizes will be awarded.
Start the day with a hearty breakfast, and in the afternoon head out and explore the best of Yosemite on one of our guided tours.
That night, join us for an exciting evening of dining, dancing and decadence as we ring in the New Year! This year’s party promises all the fun and more of past years sold out New Year’s gala events!
New Year's Eve Dinner
Come indulge in Chef Joseph’s decadent Latin New Year's feast. Choose from a variety of taste tempting dinner selections accompanied by an authentic Havana cocktail. Finish your meal off with classic Banana Tres Leches, Pears al Vino or Coconut/Caramel Flan with Fried Bananas.

New Year's Eve Party
Take a step back in time to “Old Havana” and bring in 2008 with a bang. Celebrate with dancing, merriment, food and drink at the Evergreen's “Salsa in the Sierras” festivities.
Don’t miss this classic period party as our seven piece salsa band plays a variety of salsa, latin and world beats to keep the dance floor hoppin' all night and into the morning.
Join us for a party of the ages as we transport you to a world far away from the every day. Come decked out in your favorite Salsa duds, or join us just the way you are and don a fedora or tiara from your “New Year’s Party Package”.
Visit our classic tavern serving tart & tangy Brazilian Caipirinhas, Fresh Mint Cuban Mojitos & Fresh-squeezed Agua Frescas.
We'll have dance instructors onsite all weekend for Salsa dance lessons or to act as a dance partner, if you're feeling daring.
After you've warmed up your dancing shoes, compete in our “Salsa Dance Contest”. Strut your stuff on the dance floor and win prizes, and perhaps the coveted title of “King” or “Queen” of Yosemite for a night.
At the stroke of midnight, toast the New Year under the Yosemite stars with your commemorative Evergreen Lodge engraved champagne glass.

On Tuesday, sleep in, then enjoy a wonderful New Year’s brunch. Laze around the lodge and recover from the big night, or explore more of Yosemite on one of our guided trips.
New Year's Day Champagne Brunch
Start the year off right with Chef Joseph's decadent champagne brunch, featuring a host of breakfast specialties and your choice of mimosas, Bloody Mary's and more.
Time: 9AM – Noon
Price: $17.95 Adults; $8.95 Kids (age 2-12)
After brunch, if you are feeling adventurous, join one of our naturalists on a hike, snowshoe outing or guided van tour in the Valley or surrounding area.
If you're feeling a bit mellow, kick back, and enjoy your afternoon in our recreation center, complete with board games, library, comfy couches and blazing fireplace. Or indulge in watching football Bowl games in the tavern. However you choose to spend your New Year's Day will only add to the memories of your unique Evergreen New Year’s getaway!
